This site is dedicated to the memory of Dorothy Hunt.
Dorothy, born on 29 January 1941, was known to her children and grandchildren as Dodie. She fought a formidable battle against ovarian cancer for five and a half years. Despite being diagnosed with extensive stage 3 cancer and a life expectancy of between six and nine months back in 2002, Dorothy took on a disciplined and dignified approach to her disease which enabled her to spend a few extra years seeing her grandchildren grow up. Sadly, Dorothy lost her fight with cancer on 17 March 2008 at the Isabel Hospice, near Welwyn, surrounded by her family.
Now that a few years have passed and her two daughters are slowly coming to terms with the premature death of their mother, Lisa and Victoria are raising funds during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month (March 2010) and beyond.
Please help us to support this worthwhile cause in Dodie's memory.
Thank you.
